Just a few weeks ago, Centex announced that it would be funding and assisting the preservation of the Georgia Pinhoti Trail and it’s linking to the mountains of Alabama. This link will not only allow people to hike from Maine to Alabama, but it will preserve over 1,700 miles of beautiful forest along the Georgia and Alabama border. This is only one of the many preservation ventures in which Centex has participated. To date, Centex has assisted in the preservation of over 25,000 acres of land.
